REP will award the following cash prizes for excellence in original student research presentations at the 2021 REP conference, on October 20-23: first and second prizes at both the undergraduate/Master’s level and at the PhD level. First place awards in each category will be $250; second prizes will be $150.
Eligible students who have registered for the conference through REP and have submitted an abstract no later than September 17th, 2021 are automatically included in consideration for the award. Multiple student presenters will split the award amount.
Judging is based on quality, creativity, scholarly basis, and presentation of original student research, even if the research reflects collaboration with a faculty advisor. Presentations must stay within the allotted time (15 minutes within a 75-minute paper session). Judges include REP board members and other long-time REP conference attendees.
