Vernon District. The conference organizers have secured group rates at the <em>Hotel Indigo Baltimore Downtown<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reduced room rates (US $155.00\/night + taxes and fees, for a double queen room or single king room) are valid from October 19 to October 23 and guests must book their room by Friday, September 19th, 2021 in order to benefit from the negotiated rate. Amtrak and light rail connect the airport to downtown with stops not too far from the hotel.&nbsp;Cabs are available but expensive. See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rome2rio.com\/s\/Baltimore-Airport-BWI\/Downtown-Baltimore\">here <\/a> for options to get from the airport to the hotel\u201424 West Franklin Street\u2014and back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>From Penn Station<\/strong>, you can take the free <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charmcitycirculator.com\/route\/purple\">Charm City Circulator Purple Line<\/a> southbound to the Centre Street stop  or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mta.maryland.gov\/schedule\/stops\/lightrail\">Light Rail<\/a> to the Centre Street or Lexington Market stop followed by a short walk to the hotel at 24 West Franklin Street. (https:\/\/www.mta.maryland.gov\/schedule\/stops\/lightrail )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parking<\/strong>. There is a city parking garage across the street from the hotel, and parking is $13.00 a day. Hotel residents have reserved spaces. Others may encounter a full garage, and street parking is expensive and limited to two hours, but there are several other parking garages within a few blocks of the Hotel Indigo\u2014at 24 West Franklin Street\u2014see <a href=\"https:\/\/en.parkopedia.com\/parking\/locations\/24_west_franklin_street_baltimore_maryland_21201_united_states_abh6dqcx8998062f21\/?country=us&amp;arriving=202110011130&amp;leaving=202110011330\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Parking Update as of 10\/12\/21<\/strong>:\u00a0 Hotel Indigo staff assure us that there should be plenty of available parking during the day in the garage at\u00a0<strong>24 Franklin Street<\/strong>\u00a0across the street from the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage people in the Northeast Corridor to take Amtrak to Baltimore\u2019s Penn Station, which is easily connected to the hotel by public transportation or the Charm City Circulator, or by MARC from Washington to either Penn Station or the Brunswick Line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Metro\/Light rail<\/strong>.
